30th June 2001
Some
came by road, others arrived on foot from Bournville Station
Cadbury
World was groaning at the seams as nearly 3000 Pilots descended on its
attractions. Most people started with a trip around the extensive
exhibition.

Steve
the Magic Guy and a puppet troop were among the attractions on offer in
the marquee in the playground |
Pilots' Arena was the place to be when all the other forms of fun had
been exhausted, with music, drama and space to stretch out.
Closing worship was a time for
prayer, singing and dancing as worship-leader Stephen Brown reminded
his huge congregation that for all the fun that they had enjoyed at
Cadbury World, it was really God's world that they were living
in.
Time to leave at
the end of a memorable day, and Pilots Development Officer Karen Bulley
takes a moment to congratulate some of her workers.
