A Collaborator

A CRCW will be a person

 

WHO IS: A Collaborator

  • Someone who has a willingness to deal constructively with personal and inter-personal conflict, & with conflict between individuals and groups and who has a real desire to recognise with thankfulness the gifts of others, a readiness to receive from those gifts & to co-operate with them for the good of the Church’s mission and ministry.

WHO KNOWS ABOUT

  • Group dynamics & the stages of group development

  • Decision-making and participation processes

  • Networking with other churches, communities and organisations

  • Team-building, Group process and the ways in which different people work at common tasks

WHO HAS SKILLS IN

  • Group Work, facilitation of formal and informal meetings, chairing meetings

  • Working within communities to select options, to contribute to and make plans for collective action (C1 & C2)

  • Supporting and Taking action with individuals, community groups and communities to deal with conflict (B6 & B7)

  • Networking

  • Negotiating

  • Forming partnerships

  • Working in partnership

  • Animating and encouraging others

  • Leadership styles

  • Planning, allocating and evaluating work carried out by teams, individuals and self (MI6?)
