seeks to appoint a

Programme Associate

Based at the CWM Europe offices, Banbury, Oxfordshire,
Salary £25,000
Full time, three year renewable contract

CWM Europe seeks to interpret mission in the European context, and empower its members to make mission a priority in their engagement with society. The Region supports member churches in developing their mission programmes and facilitates a Regional Mission Programme which reflects the CWM mission within the European context.

We are looking to appoint an efficient and highly organised person to provide quality organisational support for events and programmes within CWM Europe. We are seeking a strong communicator, networker and team player who will contribute to the effectiveness of our small team. The post will provide opportunities to develop and take responsibility for specific pieces of work within CWM Europe.

Candidates applying for this post will also need:

• To be educated to degree level or equivalent
• To efficient in organising events
• To work to a high level of administration
• Experience of organising travel
• The ability to network effectively
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisation skills demonstrating attention to detail
• The ability to work with a variety of people
• To be able to work alone
• Strong IT skills
• The ability to work effectively under pressure, working to deadlines and be self-motivating
• Ability to evaluate, analyse and suggest improvements to CWM Europe’s operations
• A proactive attitude
• To have a flexible and adaptable approach
• Creativity
• Innovative
• Be a team player
• To be willing to work within the Christian ethos of CWM
