Church and Society is part of the United Reformed Church Mission Team and the Joint Public Issues Team (Baptist, Methodist, United Reformed Church and Church of Scotland). Church and Society supports and enables the URC to live out its commitment to challenge injustice and encourage peace building and reconciliation.
Formed in 2006, the Joint Public Issues Team combines the expertise of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church, and now with the Church of Scotland in the area of public issues. It enables our four denominations to work together in living out the gospel of Christ in the church and in society.
