Janet Soskice at Church House Bookshop spoke to a large crowd about her exciting new book, Sisters of Sinai.  She talked with enthusiasm about how the two sisters Agnes and Margaret Smith adventured alone to Egypt in the 1860s.  During the visit Agnes discovered one of the earliest copies of the gospels, written in ancient Syriac.
