to appoint a
PA
to Secretary for Racial Justice & Multicultural Ministry and
Secretary for Mission
based at
Church House, Tavistock Place, London
Salary -
£21,624 - £26,328
Full-time, permanent contract.
The United Reformed Church House serves as
the central administrative headquarters for URC churches around the
country and oversees some 1,100 URC ministers. The offices at
Church House include the areas of Racial Justice & Multicultural
Ministry and Mission which are both part of the Mission Department.
We are looking for a bright, friendly and
committed full-time Personal Assistant to work 35 hours a week
within both areas. You will be providing invaluable support to 2
full-time managers in a new and developing department.
This is a busy and varied administrative
role which requires a flexible individual who can work autonomously
and respond well to direction. To be considered candidates should:

be educated to A
level standard or equivalent;

have experience of
working with email and word processing software;

have experience of
working with MS Access;
-
be able to work
both as part of a team and independently;
-
have excellent
communication and inter-personal skills;
-
be able to work to
tight deadlines and use initiative;
-
have strong
administrative and organisational skills;
-
have a minimum of
45 wpm typing speed;
-
be able to
multi-task and deal with change;
-
have an interest
in/awareness of justice and mission issues; and
-
possess a
willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the United
Reformed Church.
