‘Wow!’

‘I loved the Jungle roller coaster; it is just the best ride in the whole of Legoland! A close second is the Water Park where I got covered in freezing cold water’.

‘If we go again my name’s on the list - definitely. It was just so amazing’.

‘The park was excellent especially the Jungle Roller Coaster, and the Driving School. It was brilliant’

That was the feedback from Legoland 2004. But now it’s time to think about Longleat 2008. And the next great Pilots funday out

Introducing the day, Karen Bulley, Pilots Development Officer, says: ‘We thought Pilots@Legoland was great. But we plan to build on that, and Pilots on Safari at Longleat will be even better’.

In 2004, 6,500 Pilots and their church friends gathered for a day of fun and worship. As plans for Longleat take shape there is the opportunity for you and your church group to join the fun and be ‘Pilots for the day’ But you’ll need to start making plans now. Put the date May 17th 2008 in your diary. There are only 4,000 tickets, so booking forms need to be sent to the Pilots Desk as soon as possible. On the day there will be:

  • an opportunity to meet Pilots from all over Britain

  • a collective worship for everyone at the Pilots stage area

  • access to all attractions including Longleat mansion, the giant maze and the safari park

  • a Pilots theme flowing through the park

  • and a treasure hunt in the Longleat grounds to help you explore this beautiful place.

It is almost impossible to get around all the attractions in one day so Pilots will have passport tickets which give access to every attraction once. The passport will last for a whole year. So, if you don’t get round to everything, you can come back later. As a bonus for  Pilots, the safari attraction will not be marked on Saturday, allowing you to return the next day and visit the safari again. So, why not make a weekend of it? Overnight accommodation in local church halls for groups can easily be arranged.

Pilots have organised special prices for this event:

those aged 15 and over: £14.00

(normal price £21.00)

those aged 3-14: £11.00
