Flush Out is based on the need to provide clean water for the millions of people in our global society who need to have health, education and employment. It is a sober fact that 6,000 children die each day because of filthy water.
Flush Out has a toilet theme - a fact of life – and it shows how there can be great fun using a variety of themes and games for fundraising. Find out how you can set up a toilet tax; provide loo-roll loot; hold a potty party and test your initiative when you Splash out. Have a go at composing a piece of music as you listen to the flushing toilet. As Elliott Inglis aged 13 says ‘If we all band together and act we can change the world. Every child should have the right to clean water, food, security, shelter and an education’.
Money raised will help pay for water and sanitation projects in very poor communities around the world. The pack introduces young people from Afghanistan where Rahna and her brothers and sisters gets ill less often now that her family has clean water. Chus from El Salvador and Kardiata from Senegal with countless other families need clean water to help them LIVE.
