Log into the URC website and you’ll see a new button on the front page like the one above. What does it mean?
It’s a special kind of advert. Click on it and you will be taken to the website of Amazon.co.uk, where you’ll find a huge range of books, CDs, videos, DVDs and a growing range of other products like consumer electronics and kitchenware... always remembering that the best place to buy your religious books is direct from the URC at URC Books Online - also available from our front page.
The difference between this button and a regular advert is simple – if you go to the Amazon site using the button and then decide to buy anything, the URC will receive a percentage of the price you pay.
So while the URC isn’t in the business of recommending one supplier over another, if you should find that Amazon have what you want at a price that’s right, it’s a painless way of helping the Church – any money received will be used to offset the considerable cost of providing the URC website.
