The Windermere Centre – it's YOUR place! The Windermere Centre, situated in the Lake District, is the residential training centre for the United Reformed Church. This delightful Lakeland stone house – formerly the manse of Carver Church – is set on the edge of Windermere village and has accommodation for 33 people in 22 en-suite bedrooms. The Centre has a comfortable lounge with television and video, a library, bookshop, bar, dining room and fully-equipped conference room. Our peaceful Garden Room provides the ideal place for prayer and reflection. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal and the staff is caring and helpful. Whether you’re taking part in one of the cutting-edge courses on the programme, exploring mission in a local context with your church, or simply here as a guest spending time in the Lake District – the Windermere Centre is YOUR place.
